In 2009, during her senior year at Westminster College in Salt Lake City Utah, Amanda began working at the Tea Grotto, a fine tea establishment in Salt Lake City. It was there that she developed a deep appreciation of tea, its history, health benefits and ceremony. For Amanda, tea is ceremony. She has traveled and learned about tea ceremony and culture, which she teaches to her customers both formally and informally. From Amanda’s love of nature, pottery and tea has come a new sort of teapot, which she aptly calls Treepots. Amanda sells her pottery, jewelry and other artwork at different shops throughout Utah and her pottery is featured in various gallery events throughout the year. View all posts by mandimush
